Beus Pond

I couldn't stay home yesterday knowing it was in the fifties outside. So I asked my friend Ashley to take a trip with me and the kids up to Beus Pond to feed the duckies...and the geese.

This poor ducky was having a bad hair day. Notice the white pOoF coming out the side of his head.

These geese were MEAN! They haven't been fed in a while! They were surrounding us on the dock, holding us hostage till we fed them ALL of our bread.

Can you guess what caused this???

This morning, I was taking a couple pictures of Jace while Bentley was playing on the floor next to me. All of a sudden he starts crying and comes and sits on my lap..I start patting his back telling him he's ok and then I went to kiss his head and I found this! But MORE!! I freaked out and ran up to the bathroom to get a washcloth. I started cleaning the blood away and found that it was coming from the side of his head. It was a TINY little hole the size of a marker tip. Scroll down to see the culprit.

don't worry, I'm not a terribly bad mom, I made sure he was ok before I took these pics to send to his daddy. :) There was WAY more blood before!!

I THINK this evil airplane did it!! I mean look at it..it looks like a death trap.

Here's proof that he's all better now :) He looks pretty comfy in the lovesac watching 'Dragon Tales'

V-day & pics from our trip

Well, Dallin said for V-day, I could choose the restaurant. So I chose Happy Sumo! Let's be honest, I knew he wouldn't LOVE it..but I NEVER get to go there, so I thought, here's my chance! So I got to eat some yummy sushi, and Dallin not being a fish person ordered some chicken that wasn't very good..so he renamed 'Happy SUmo'...'Crappy Sumo' I know...apalling..

and just for the record, I NEVER liked fish, until I got pregnant with Jace..and now I LOVE it! wierd...We also decided not to get a babysitter and take the kids with us, so we went to the Clark Planetarium and saw the Dinosaurs 3D show! It was pretty good and Bentley kept trying to grab the things flying at him. He would say, "I touch it mommy.." and then.."Can't reach it.." haha:) It was pretty funny.Sorry no pics..forgot my camera...



Here are some pics from our road trip..Which I am going to start calling The Amazing Race Because, it really was amazing we made it..we even encountered some obsticles like trying to figure out why the car smelt like rotten eggs..which me and my sister kept convincing my mom it was just 'bad gas' gasoline that is.. Well..it turned out to be the battery..We are lucky we didn't break down off the side of the freeway...wow...did we really DRIVE all the way to FlOrIdA?...

and the beach!.. this was his first visit to the beach. He LOVED it!!

until he fell in the water fully clothed..so we changed his clothes and he was off to build sandcastles with grandma..

Jace slept through his first visit to the beach :)

p.s. Bentley came in while I was doing this post and he said.."Look there's Benty (he says his name Bent-E) at the water beach!" haha..I love that kid!

BoYs

This little man weighed 12 lbs 12 oz. at his 2 month check up! He was in the 70% for his weight and 90% for his height! He is SoO bIg!

I was trying to get some stuff done the other day and Jace was soo fussy and just wanted to be held which was making it a little hard to get anything done so I decided to put Bentley in his crib with him to entertain him. It worked out great! I was able to clean all the bedrooms without any fussing for an hour! Bentley LoVeS his baby brother :)

I walked into the playroom the other day and found this...

I could not stop laughing! I love how silly he is! He is definitly his father's son :)

CrAzY??...MaYbE..

-Bentley at 3 1/2 mo. old-
The last couple weeks of my life have been really crazy. My sweet grandma whom I was EXTREMLY close with passed away very unexpectedly. It's been a rough couple of weeks to say the least. A rough year might be a better word. My sister who was just out here a couple weeks ago flew back out to be here for everything. The last time she was out here she and my mom decided she would buy one of my dad's old cars which was a hummer and the plan was for my mom to drive it half way and fly back when it warmed up and my sister to fly half way and drive it back..well they figured since she was here and we needed to take our minds off everything, they would drive it all the way to florida now and my mom would fly back. Well, I didn't want to miss anything so I decided to go.. with my TWO KIDS!...yes...i know...crazy!

Wyoming..sun's not even out yet! We got an early start!



It was actually a wonderful drive that did turn out to be very theraputic. The kids did VERY good considering they were cooped up in a car for 12 hours a day!! (Thank goodness for portable DVD players!!) We covered NINE states in THREE days!!..We left Utah entering Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Georgia and into FLORIDA!! I didn't charge my camera before I left so I snapped a picture and it died. I will post the pictures my sister took as soon as she sends them to me! When we got to Florida, we RELAXED, went to the park, Daytona Beach, and it was already time to come back home. It was a very nice trip that distracted us all from reality.

Megan, Jenn and I took Tessa, Breckan and Bentley to see Mickey Mouse Play House Live Tour at the Delta Center and they LOVED it!!! It was such a cute show..Good idea Jenn! :)
