Santa brought Bentley a Dr. cart with all the supplies, which sounds a little wierd, but I thought my Benny would like it and it turned out I was right!..or Santa was right.. :) He thought it was great! Working on his first patient... Better make sure this moniter is working right... Wheeling his patient to the OR I think... He got a little distracted by what was in his stocking... And decided to use his "scissors" to open his candy He found some Spinderman socks in his stocking This is what Santa brought me... :) He loved ripping that paper off and everytime he would reveal the box underneath, he would shout "A BOX!" like that was his present and he couldn't be happier. haha :) Playing with some of the trucks and planes mommy and daddy got him I hope you all had a MeRrY ChRiStMaS! We sure did! :O)
I officially feel 'old enough' to have two kids! haha. 23 sounds a lot older than 22 right? People look at me like I am crazy being 22 with TWO kids! But I wouldn't have it ANY other way! :O)
Ok...so why does eVeRyThInG have to go out in the SAME month?? It started with needing new tires for BOTH cars...THEN the primary hard drive in our (not very old computer) goes out so we have to buy a new computer, then our vacuum decides to stop picking up, it has been thinking about it for a while now, but for some reason I thought it would just "decide to start working again" I mean come on, it's not very old either! So off to Costco for a new vacuum. And last but certainly NOT least, our furnace decides to start leaking CO2 and stop working!!! So bring on the new furnace, which by the way is NOT cheap! To make this big financial pill a little harder to swallow, our home warranty that would have covered the furnace expired about THREE weeks ago!! UGH... Does it all really have to decide to bite the dust right after a new baby and right BEFORE Christmas!?

Jace had his well check up yesterday and he had to get a little shot in his foot. :( He is growing so good though and weighs 8 1/2 lbs! I can't believe how fast they grow.
Bentley's hair in the back grows longer in the middle like a 'tail' (I don't know what they're called)

Baby Jace is HERE!!!!! He was born early Sunday morning at 4:10 am. I started going into labor Saturday night, well..what I thought was labor, I wasn't sure. I was just contracting more frequently so I thought we would head to the hospital. When we got there, they hooked me up to a moniter to time my contractions and I started contracting 2 minutes apart! They also checked me and I was dialated to a SIX! So I WAS in labor! My Dr. came shortly after to break my water, and then came the epidural. Then we just waited around for me to progress. Around 3:00 am I was ready and started pushing. I felt pretty nauseated during the whole labor so they decided to turn my epidural off which made me nervous, but it was pretty cool because I was able to feel everything but without pain. It was a really neat and wierd feeling. Delivering a baby is such a miracle! Dallin and I are VERY PROUD parents! :) Here are some pictures of our little miracle! :) Right before we headed to the hospital!

Cambria made Jace the CUTEST taggie blanket!! I LOVE it!!! And so does he :) Thank you Cam, mom and Ayrion for helping me with Bentley and thanks to all the wonderful visitors we've had!!! Bentley has also adjusted really well and loves his little baby brother, but he has been sick so we haven't let him get close enough to take pictures of them together, I will be sure to post some later.
I had my LAST OB appt. yesterday! My Dr. was quite shocked I even made it to the appt. She thought she would have seen me at the hospital first, but noooo...... Well this little guy weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. as of yesterday. My Dr. said I was dialated to a 5 and 90% thinned out. WHAT?! Doesn't that sound like I should be in labor?? Well, I guess not..no contractions 5 minutes apart and no water breaking.. But on the upside, I have been enjoying my last couple uninterupted nights. Well, I am off to go do some jumping jacks. ;)

Two months before he was born, Eliot was diagnosed with Trisomy 18—a genetic disorder with a very low survival rate. His parents, Matt and Ginny, began writing letters to him daily.
"Dear Eliot: Right now you are two months from being born," Matt wrote in one letter. "Doctors tell us that you won't likely make it to birth. Your mom and I are praying against that. We're praying for healing. We are praying for nothing less than a miracle. You're our first child, and the day of your birth couldn't come sooner."
Against the odds, Eliot survived his birth. "You are already a miracle to us," Matt wrote that day.
Every day that Eliot lived, he beat the odds. The median lifespan for children with Trisomy 18 is just five to 15 days—but Eliot just kept on surviving.
Matt and Ginny's letters to their infant son continued for 99 precious days. They turned their letters and literally thousands of photos of Eliot into a video that has now been seen nearly a million times on YouTube.
Matt and Ginny join Oprah and Celine from their living room in Fayetteville, Arkansas. And they have some big news—they are expecting another baby!
Matt says their tribute to Eliot started as a blog, which they used to keep friends and family updated on his status even before he was born. "Once he was here, we just took a lot of pictures and took a lot of video, and we knew we wanted to put that together in some way to tell the story of his life."
"We knew from day to day that we had that day," Ginny says. "I would tell Matt a lot: 'I'll be sad later. I'm going to enjoy every second now.' So even though his diagnosis never changed, we just decided we were going to enjoy every second that we had."
Celine is moved by that idea. "Life imposes things on you that you can't control, but you still have the choice of how you're going to live through this," she says. "Once you know the diagnosis and it's not good, then you make the best of it."
"We celebrate you," Oprah says. "What an inspiration your family has been to the world."
