My baby is THREE

Bentley turned THREE years old May 26th. Dallin had to work and go to school on Tuesday so we celebrated a little on Monday. :) We started with some lunch at Chick-Fil-A and then off to see Monsters Vs. Aliens. It was so cute and Bentley loved it.

While we waited for the movie to start, Dall and Bentley decided to do a little racing..

Then we headed up to Pedersen to ride some 4 wheelers!

On his actual birthday, my mom and I took him to the Layton Park..

We fed the ducks..

got some baskin & robbins..


and took a walk.. oh ya..and opened a couple presents :) Nothing too fancy.. a shirt that lights up..which he thinks is 'soo cool' a hat, some train tracks to go with his Thomas the Train town..some cars and......BIG BOY underwear..which isn't going so well..so we won't talk about that. :)

Jace enjoyed the walk too :)

We walked past a model home that had some balloons, which were of course like a magnet to Bentley.. (oh just fyi: I live NEXT to a super nice neighborhood, but don't live IN it..so don't think I live in one of these mansions.. i wish ;)

Wait...weren't there tWo when we got here?..ya, one flew into the sky.. Lets not let this one go too..

My mom got Bentley a super cool Batman Trike..he is LOVING it.

My sweet little Jace who is SIX MONTHS OLD NOW! I really can't believe how fast time is going...( I know everyone says that..but it's soo true )

And Bentley's new fav toy, this dinosaur we got from McDonalds. Proof that kids don't need expensive toys to be happy :) I keep telling myself that because it's so hard for me not to want to buy him every cool toy I see.

We are having a little birthday party for him on Monday..so the birthday pics are to be continued..

I'm eating solids!

....and i'm not keepin it clean!

This little man started eating solids and seems to be liking it! He grabs my hand so I will put it in his mouth quicker! haha :) We made a mistake though..well...Dallin did :) He gave him his first solid food on Mother's Day and started with fruit! I am sure all you mothers out there know it's best to start with cereal and veggies...cause they are yucky and fruit is good! So after they have the fruit, they want nothing to do with the bland stuff...well that happened! I tried to give him cereal and he was spitting it out and making discusted faces...so I had to mix a little scoop of fruit in it..and that did the trick :)

One of my BEST friends since 8th grade got married!! But before the big day, we had to have a girls night out!! Who doesn't love a little (or a lot) of the Cheesecake Factory!? Soooo good! And then some 80's dancing after?!! Ya, we thought it sounded good too, but when we got to the dance club..80's night was the next night and they had hip hop and country dancing going on..so we went in and busted our moves anyway :) Thanks girls for a night I hadn't had in a LOOOOOONG time!

...The big day...

It was so special for me to see my best friend get married in the Logan Temple. We have talked about it since 9th grade and now we have both been sealed in the temple! (not to each other though like we use to joke about in 9th grade! :) She was a GORGEOUS bride and married an awesome man that she grew up with and we went to school with. They are so perfect for each other!!!! Love you Brock and McCall!!

I walked downstairs from pouring myself a bowl of cereal and saw this! Both just laying on their tummys facing each other. it was soo cute :)

It started with some Easter egg coloring with some of Bentley's friends...

The Easter Bunny dropped off a little something...

My mom and my little family had Easter dinner over here and it was pretty tasty!...

And we had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard! I think Bentley liked that part the best!...

Whenever I am running errands with two crying kids thinking, "wow, this is a lot of work" or in the wee hours of the morning trying to get Jace back to sleep and in the mean time his fussing wakes up Bentley....These are the little moments that remind me how wonderful it is to have two great little boys. I love these two soo much. I couldn't live without them!! These are also the moments that make me want 4 more!..and then the crying starts again and I am brought back to reality :) Bentley loves his baby brother so much, I have been so impressed by his lack of jealousy with a new baby in the home. He always wants to hold him and make him happy. When Bentley holds him or sits by him he says, "mommie's two boys" haha :) it's soo cute. I guess I say that.

Whenever I get the camera out, Bentley begs me to take a picture of whatever he is playing with and then wants to see it. The things that make him happy...

And then when I set my camera down and walk away, he grabs it and starts taking his own pictures. He is so funny.

This little guy had his four month check up on Friday. Here's his stats: *15.08 lbs. (51%) *26.1 inches long. (85%) And a head circumfrence of 16.5 inches (35%)
