Baby..

So I had a Dr. Appt. on Thursday and found out that my little baby has gained almost a whole pound since my last visit!! He now weighs TWO POUNDS! My Dr. said he is measuring about a week ahead..so maybe he will come sooner than expected :) But I won't get my hopes up.. The past couple weeks, I have been gaining weight like crazy (a total of 17 pounds) I seem to be gaining more with this one but I swear I am eating better than last time..who knows.. All I know is 17 pounds all in one spot is really starting to hurt my back! I know, I am such a whiner..hehe I can vent on here and noone says, "Oh, be quiet" :) Well, any stories about getting FAT while pregnant are much appreciated :)

Roy Aquatic Center

My ward along with a few others rented out the Roy Aquatic Center last night, so me and Bentley decided to go since we haven't been all summer! We asked my sis in law Ayrion and her cute kids to come along and we had a great couple hours of fun! It is such a perfect place for little kids like Bentley to play. Ü

Benny's "Big Boy" Room

It's done!..aLmOsT.. I still have a few things I want to get, but they can wait. :) The work was worth it. I really wish I would have taken a 'before' picture, but his room before just had white walls and old carpet. The room he is currently in (which will be the baby's room) had the carpet replaced right before we moved in. So we just put the same carpet in the NeW room. We also painted the walls in a two tone of a color called "khaki" and "barnwood". It looks pretty good! We originally planned on painting the whole room the darker barnwood color, but once we tryed it on the wall, it would have been WaY tOo dark..so we went and picked up another lighter color that looks really good with it. Dallin and I were disasterous with the painting! We both spilled a half gallon of paint each! Good thing the carpet was going, so we just cut the spilled paint right out..easy enough. But the best part is, Bentley really seems to like his new room! Especially the truck sheets! I haven't had him sleep in there yet..the bed just seems soo big for him, but I will get brave soon and put him in there. I am just glad it is all ready and I don't need to stress about it anymore. I know the baby will come sooner that I think, so we have been trying to get the little things done. But today, I put him in his toddler bed for a nap and thirty minutes later I went up to check on him and he was playing quietly in his new room!..little stinker.. :) But I think he will transition just fine. It really is harder for ME. I am kind of sad to see him leave his room behind and move up to a "Big kid" room and bed.. He should still be my baby :) Time flies..

Cake = Nesquick

Ever since he discovered Nesquick, he is in LOVE with it and asks for it ALL day long..except for he calls it cake... Gotta love him :)

Chealsea and Mark should have FoR sUrE been in the Finale this week! I am a little bummed they got kicked off! Check out how AMAZING they are!! This dance ROCKS!

Fun in the Sun..

I LOVE SuMmEr TiMe!! On the 24th of July, we headed down to the new Splash Pad in So. Ogden for some FrEe fun! :) It is such a cool park! I am so glad there is something fun close to my house that we can cruise up to on those hOt summer days! Bentley had a really good time playing in the water and on the playground. We spent a little over an hour running through and playing in all the water..we decided it was time to go when we saw a kid who was honestly like EIGHT years old PEE right in the middle of the splash pad!! Seriously? It's not like a pool where it's kind of disguised.. You could see it streaming down his leG! I know..GROSS. We were so grossed out, we decided it was time to go. Bentley needed a nap anyways :) Bentley and I also got to go to Laguna Beach this week with my sis-in laws and his cute little cousins! I LOVE the water. I will be so sad when summer is over.. :O(

So here it is! A cute picture of the baby weighing in at 1.4 lbs! I think he is going to look like Bentley! He has the same little nose, cheeks and lips that Bentley had :) So cute.. I couldn't get the picture to scan and upload right, so I took a picture of the picture and now it looks funny.. I am obviously not a computer genious! Anyways, the targeted exam went great. She said she didn't see anything wrong and his heart and brain looked great. She also pointed out how relaxed he was and said that was a good sign he is getting all the nutrients he needs. He kicked his little legs a lot and pulled some pretty funny faces! It is so crazy to be able to see your little one INSIDE your tummy! It was really a neat experience. And a relief to see that everything is progressing the way it should be..so far. Being pregnant seems to make me a worry wart! Is that normal? Anyways, hope you enjoy the picture!

Potty?...

Yesterday I was cleaning my kitchen floors and Bentley kept walking on them and getting his little feet prints all over, so I told him to go upstairs and get ready for his nap. So he crawls up the stairs and I finish up the floor and walk up the stairs and into the bathroom and THIS is what I see!! I said, "BENTLEY! What are you doing?!" Benny: "I Paw-E" meaning potty :) First of all, he just barely learned this word and what it meant this week and he just barElY turned two, so I haven't even thOuGht about potty training! He has never shown any kind of interest at all! So now what do I do??.. The rest of the day I tried to get him to tell me if he had to go potty..but he didn't?..Hmm..I don't know what this means! I guess I will just follow his lead. At least he thinks it is "cool" to go on the potty. (nothing came out by the way!) Maybe this was a one time deal..or maybe he will start wanting to go on the potty?..who knows!.. A potty trained two year old would be nice when the baby comes..Ü

Our Fun Filled Weekend!

This was the most fun weekend I've had in a LoNg time! Dallin had Friday off and usually when he has Friday's off, he is still doing work, sOmEwhEre!..He just always seems to be busy. But we filled this weekend with FuN! :) It started off with seeing "The Dark Knight" Friday at noon! It was sooo good! We LOVED it!!! We are both pretty crazy about Batman, Dallin especially! I love the Megaplex at the Junction, it is so fun to take your lunch in and eat it right there in the theatre! I am sure all the people next to us didn't appreciate the smell of two personal pizzas though... :) Then we picked up Bentley who was with my mom and headed to my OB appt. With the busy day we were having, I forgot to bring my DVD so they can put the ultra sound on there..and little baby Jace was WAY to wiggly and folded up in a ball to get a good picture :( But my Dr. said everything looked good and he is 2 oz shy of a WHOLE POUND! He is getting so big :) But still doesn't really explain the TEN pounds I've gained...hmm.. I have my targeted exam on the 29th, where they check everything out in 4D! So hopefully I will have a good picture to post of baby Jace then. :)
After the Dr. Appt. We then headed to Lagoon! Ye Haw! Ü Dallin's friend got some tickets through work and invited us, it was SOO much fun! They had a cook out and everything! We took Bentley on Rattle Snake Rapids for the first time, he got SOAKED and loved every minute of it! After a long day, we were ready to go home and get some sleep! And in the morning, I woke up to Dallin's FaMoUs crepes and homemade caramel syrup! :) Isn't my hubby sweet?! After a yummy breakfast we had to run some errands, one that included getting a new bed for Bentley! He is in the toddler bed version of his crib right now which works perfectly, but when the baby comes, he will be in the crib! So we are going to start working on Bentley's nEw room! I will probably paint sometime before July is over and then we can start setting things up! We are doing a TRUCK room! It will be so fun, I am excited. On the side is a picture of his bed, but it is RED, so much cuter :)

Around 2:00 we decided to drive up to Wellsville near Logan to visit some friends, Adam, Brooke and their 1 year old Jake. We had a great time. The boys fished, while we camped out on the side of the river and played. We decided to go eat dinner at Pier 49 Pizza.. (We had a lOT of pizza this weekend..kinda makes me sick to think about it..) But we had the bbq chicken pizza which I LOVE, can't turn that down :) After dinner, the boys made a fire and we hung out and made S'mores! (I really want a fire pit now!) They are so fun! Bentley fell asleep on the chair, and after about 30 minutes, he yells out (in his sleep) TRUCK! That kid is ObSeSsEd with trucks..hence the truck room :) He will really be dreaming about them then! It was so funny, we all laughed, it reminded me of Dallin TOTALLY! He will talk about his snowmobile in the middle of his sleep!..haha..Funny boys :) Well, sorry about the crazy long post!!
