GeTtInG rEaDy...

Well, I have been doing some of those last minute baby things this week...buying teeny tiny diapers, new binkies, Dreft, (which I swear wasn't $16.00 when I was buying it for Bentley! OuCh! That is SpEnDy) getting a couple NeWbOrN outfits, (Bentley was born in the Summer & has NO warm newborn clothes) washing the newborn clothes, having Dallin hang the shelf in his room and getting some stuff for me to pack for the hospital. I am pretty much ReAdY!..
I had my OB appt. yesterday. I was dialated to a 4, which is progress but the way I have been feeling I could have sworn I was dialated to an 8! I really feel like I am walking around in the splits and that he could fall out on his head any minute.. She did say that his head was even LOWER, so maybe that's why..
My Dr., Dallin and I decided that if I haven't gone into labor by Nov. 20th, I am going to have him by C-Section on that day. I'm really hoping to go into labor before then and have him naturally so the recovery will be easier on me and I don't HAVE to have a C-Section next time if there is a next time. :) But as long as he gets here safely, I will be happy! His rapid weight gain has slowed down a little and as of yesterday he weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. I can't wait to see him! I will keep you updated. :)

Trick or Treat

So Bentley was not so much into wearing his pumpkin costume his mommy made him wear, especially the hat, but he was WAY into getting candy just by knocking on someone's door! After he got the idea, he kept saying, "Mo houses mommy, mo houses!" He definitly thought trick or treating was AwEsOmE!


If you can't tell, he is PUMPED about all the candy he is getting!


If you noticed Bentley's army/camo pants, your probably thinking, "What? Army pants with a pumpkin costume??" Well, I had a back up plan in case he wouldn't keep his pumpkin costume on..He could be G.I Joe or a hunter!?..


Just a couple of pumpkins!.. Bentley kept trying to sit down on the grass so he could dump out his candy and rumage through it! He picked out the licorice rope this time..


My mom works with this Dr. who is a MAJOR Harry Potter fan and he decks out his whole yard to look just like your in the Harry Potter books on Halloween. There are people dressed up as all the characters, games, drinks, the works! It's pretty awesome. So we decided to take Bentley up there, and oh was it CROWDED! It was a lot of fun though..we saw this bird/horse character who got right in Bentley's face and it freaked him out!! I convinced him he was a "nice bird" but he still wouldn't take his eyes off him just in case he decided to pull any funny business..

Progress

Well, I am now dialated to a 3 and baby Jace is nearly 6 1/2 lbs! I guess I better get anything I wanted done before the baby got here, DONE! It's getting close... :)

BaBy UpDaTe...WaRnInG: this may be too much information for some

I had my Dr. appt. yesterday and baby Jace weighs 5 lbs 11 oz. I told her I felt like he had dropped and she checked me and confirmed that was true! She said his head was very low and she actually touched it!..(sorry if that is TMI) She also said I was dialated to a 2 and that my cervix was thinned out..(again, sorry; I warned you:) So my body is getting ready! Maybe my long walk to the Gateway has something to do with it??...j/k :) She also gave me some muscle relaxers for my back which has been hurting really bad especially since he has dropped even lower. Hopefully they will help, I feel like an old lady lately with my body being so sore. I will be doing weekly appts. now, so I will have another update shortly!

First time on the Frontrunner

Dallin had some vacation days left at work that he needed to use up so he decided to use a couple this weekend so now he has Thursday-Monday off! WaHoO! He never has that much time off, so we decided to take Bentley on the frontrunner yesterday. He loved riding on the choo-choo! Of CoUrSe! We got off in Salt Lake and headed to the Gateway for lunch. Little did we know that the station is about a MiLe from the Gateway and I was StUpId and wore boots with a nice tall wedge on them..:) Needless to say, the ExTrEmElY pregnant girl had some tired feet. It was a really fun family outing, thanks Dallin for suggesting it! Ü

p.s. I bought the cheap batteries for my camera and they weren't strong enough to power my camera, so I just took these with my phone.. Lesson learned, AlWaYs buy the good batteries :)

I got to meet my friends I haven't seen in a LONG time for lunch on Tuesday, Alexis and Britney. It was soooo fun! I met Alexis in my old neighborhood, we happened to be pregnant at the same time with our little boys and always said they would be good buddies, but I moved before that could happen! They proved us right at lunch though! They were instant buds and even wanted to hold hands when we left. soo cute.. :) We will definitly have to get together more often! Britney is Alexis' sis-in-law and a friend of mine from high school and she is pregnant right now and we are only ONE day apart! So we have some more future play mates. :) Thanks for the fun time girls, can't wait to do it again!

Who eats more sweets? ME! I have a major sweet tooth, I have to have candy or sweets every day, but when Dallin decides to have something, he will eat the whole pan of cookies or half a cake.

Oh BaBy..

I had my OB appt. today and here is the scoop: This baby is BiG! He weighs 4 lbs 12 oz.! Almost 5 lbs!! (Doctors words, "Wow, he is a chunker.") That is almost the size of a newborn! They say from week 33 to delivery,the baby almost doubles in size! I hope I don't have a TEN pound baby!..She (My Dr.) said everything looked good and he is head down, so that is good since I plan on having a VBAC. She also gave me the consent form for VBAC's and I am feeling a little..or actually a lot nervous about it. There are some scarry things that can happen. I had been looking into it the past couple weeks and had been feeling some anxiety over it..but now my anxiety level has moved up a notch. I go back in 2 weeks and we are going to talk about it extensively then. I really don't know how I plan on having this baby now?!..Lots to think about..

Well, amen to that! I can't sleep a wink lately!

A lot of it due to me getting up 5 times a night to visit the restroom, my back that has been constantly pinching, and the feeling of wanting to puke when I lay down! Anything I have eaten prior to going to bed just doesn't have anywhere to go and I feel like it all wants to come right back up! sounds fun, huh! :) I forgot how wonderful the third trimester is :) Despite the hard parts, pregnancy is such a miraculous thing to experience and I am sooo grateful I get to and I am enjoying every moment of it, I know I won't being doing it again for a LONG time. ;)
