Good to be home!

Well, I just got back yesterday from my vacation to Florida to visit my sister! We had such a great time but oh, is it good to be home! Dallin stayed home with Benny while I was gone and I missed them like CRAZY!! It never felt so good to see the mountain range flying into good ol' Utah! I LOVE HOME!! I will do a post with pics later :)

p.s. Knowing I would be soo bored on my lonesome and long plane ride to FL, I decided to see what all the rage is about with Twilight..Well...I AM OBSESSED!! I am half way through the THIRD one and it's only been a WEEK!! I hope the movies are as HOT as the books! Thought I would let you all know I am "WITH IT" now Ü

So last week, Dallin went backbacking in the Uintah's with some friends, including Brooke's Hubby, so we decided to have a girls' night at Gateway! We met at Happy Sumo for dinner, and guess what I discovered?...I LOVE SUSHI!! (Fried sushi, that is:) I have always been afraid of it, but oh my gosh, it is soo yummy! After dinner, we went to see a chik flik and then we were off to play in the fountains!..But they were turned off cuz of that Crypto disease...so we made our own fun :)

My dad was Frank Sinatra's BIGGEST fan, therefore I loved him as well. If I hear his song's or name, I instantly think of my dad. I miss him so much, and want so bad to dance around the house with him to Frank Sinatra and play him in a game of Texas Hold em'. My relationship with my dad was like no other relationship I've ever had. He put this business-e, card playin, Frank Sinatra lovin, old school sense in me that I love. Thank you dad. Thank you for always letting me do it my way. I love you.

6 1/2 months!

Yes, that's right! I am now 6 1/2 months pregnant! WaHoO! I can't believe I am almost in my 3rd trimester already! I think it goes by faster when you are chasing around a little toddler all day. :)

Being pregnant for the second time just makes me think of all the memories that went along with my first..so I thought I would do this TaG from Elise..:O)

BABIES FULL NAME? Bentley Dallin Whitear

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THAT SPECIFIC NAME? We had been thinking about Bentley, but weren't sure if it was the "one". But when he was born (earlier than expected) it was the only name we had both agreed on, and he looked like a Bentley. :)

WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME? For 11 1/2 short months :) (not planned by the way..)

WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS? Pure joy and happiness. The love we felt for him instantly was and still is SO overwhelming. Nothing has brought me more joy in my life than being a mother.

DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX? DuH! How were we suppose to decorate his nursery if we didn't know what it was?! :o) Plus..I am WAY too impatient..

DUE DATE? June 19th 2006

DID YOU DELIVER EARLY OR LATE? Early by three weeks. He was born May 26th

DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS? Yes, but it was more like evening sickness. It wasn't too bad though..

WHAT DID YOU CRAVE? HaMbUrGeRs! I never was crazy about hamburgers till I got pregnant. And then I found out I was and am AgAiN..Enemic so my body was craving the iron.

WHO IRRITATED YOU THE MOST? Anyone who was irritating :)

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD'S SEX? bOy

DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS WITH YOUR PREGNANCY? Well..He was breach (head up) the WhOlE time and my Dr. was concerned if he didn't turn around I would have to have a c-section..so three weeks before my due date, I went to McKay Dee, so she could TRY to turn him around, with her hands pushing on my stomach..YA, OUCH! But what she found (after that painful event) was me already in labor contracting 2 minutes apart and his foot already on it's way out! And I was P.I.H. which means the baby was causing me to retain way too much fluid and my blood pressure to rise AlOt which is pretty dangerous..So that is the day baby Bentley made his arrival! via emergency c-section!

HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? Who knows how long I was in labor, I was just trying to be tough and assuming it was Braxton Hix contractions..First timer..??

WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? Dallin, little did we know we would drive home with a baby.

WHO WAS IN THE DELIVERY ROOM? The O.R? Dallin..He almost passed out though after the epidural..but oddly enough, he could watch my insides being ripped out and set on the table..?? All I know is I am SO HAPPY he made it through, because I was a nervous wreck.

WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? C-section

DID YOU HAVE AN EPIDURAL? well you kind of have to with a c-section! But I would have opted for one anyways!

HOW MUCH DID YOUR BABY WEIGH? 6 lbs 10 oz.

DID YOUR BABY HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS? No, he was BEAUTIFUL and out of me in about 5 minutes after they made the incision..it goes SO fast! Well, I take that back..The night he was born, I had him go to the nursery for one feeding, and it's a good thing I did! He quit breathing for a minute and turned blue! So he spent a couple days in the NICU, but was just fine! :O)

HOW OLD IS YOUR FIRSTBORN NOW? 2!! Now, he is going to be the BIG brother :)

I got them!

I got my family pictures this weekend and didn't waste anytime framing and displaying them! Now my walls are plastered with family pictures, but I LoVe it! :)

Baby..

So I had a Dr. Appt. on Thursday and found out that my little baby has gained almost a whole pound since my last visit!! He now weighs TWO POUNDS! My Dr. said he is measuring about a week ahead..so maybe he will come sooner than expected :) But I won't get my hopes up.. The past couple weeks, I have been gaining weight like crazy (a total of 17 pounds) I seem to be gaining more with this one but I swear I am eating better than last time..who knows.. All I know is 17 pounds all in one spot is really starting to hurt my back! I know, I am such a whiner..hehe I can vent on here and noone says, "Oh, be quiet" :) Well, any stories about getting FAT while pregnant are much appreciated :)

Roy Aquatic Center

My ward along with a few others rented out the Roy Aquatic Center last night, so me and Bentley decided to go since we haven't been all summer! We asked my sis in law Ayrion and her cute kids to come along and we had a great couple hours of fun! It is such a perfect place for little kids like Bentley to play. Ü


Bentley enjoying his yummy popsicle..until he got a brain freeze and starting hitting his head..haha..I think that was his first one!

Benny's "Big Boy" Room

It's done!..aLmOsT.. I still have a few things I want to get, but they can wait. :) The work was worth it. I really wish I would have taken a 'before' picture, but his room before just had white walls and old carpet. The room he is currently in (which will be the baby's room) had the carpet replaced right before we moved in. So we just put the same carpet in the NeW room. We also painted the walls in a two tone of a color called "khaki" and "barnwood". It looks pretty good! We originally planned on painting the whole room the darker barnwood color, but once we tryed it on the wall, it would have been WaY tOo dark..so we went and picked up another lighter color that looks really good with it. Dallin and I were disasterous with the painting! We both spilled a half gallon of paint each! Good thing the carpet was going, so we just cut the spilled paint right out..easy enough. But the best part is, Bentley really seems to like his new room! Especially the truck sheets! I haven't had him sleep in there yet..the bed just seems soo big for him, but I will get brave soon and put him in there. I am just glad it is all ready and I don't need to stress about it anymore. I know the baby will come sooner that I think, so we have been trying to get the little things done. But today, I put him in his toddler bed for a nap and thirty minutes later I went up to check on him and he was playing quietly in his new room!..little stinker.. :) But I think he will transition just fine. It really is harder for ME. I am kind of sad to see him leave his room behind and move up to a "Big kid" room and bed.. He should still be my baby :) Time flies..







Gotta show off his "artwork" :) He is so proud of it, he says, "WoOk! my ChOo chOO!"

Cake = Nesquick

Ever since he discovered Nesquick, he is in LOVE with it and asks for it ALL day long..except for he calls it cake... Gotta love him :)
