Disneyworld

Bentley and I were able to go on a date to Disneyworld at the end of January with some family. It's kind of a long story about how it all fell into place, but I am so grateful it did, we had SOO MUCH FUN! It was some much needed mommy and Bentley time.

We had a really long day of flying..but we kept ourselves entertained.

We flew in on a Thursday night to Orlando..

And hit up Magic Kingdom first thing Friday morning!

Waiting in line for Dumbo...

One of Bentley's favorite rides... 'the horses'

Buzz Light Year!

I was a heathen. You can't go to Disney without getting a turkey leg!

We loved the teacups!

Another favorite was of course the race cars... He told me "I am taking you somewhere mommy."

Toon Town was the cutest. Here we are checkin out what Minnie has in her fridge.

And what Mickey has in his garage..

The next day we headed over to Animal Kingdom.

The Tree of Life. The whole tree is sculptures of animals. Pretty awesome!

We saw some large, nasty bats.

Some beautiful tigers..

Took a minute to play the African drums..

Took an African Safari..

And of course had a loli pop as big as our head.

This doesn't even cover half the fun we had or the animals we saw..but who wants to take pictures when your cramming a weeks worth of fun in TWO days?!

Then we headed back to Magic Kingdom to watch the light parade..

This boy is obsessed with swords

What a magical weekend. I LOOOOVE Disneyworld and I am so glad I could share it with Bentley!!

.

.

.

Although we did have an absolute amazing time..we did have a few mishaps..

*Bentley had a few fits..
Which one time caused me to put him in time out in the Happiest Place on Earth over a damn light sword.

*I lost my credit card at the light parade.

*I discovered I lost it as we were packing up to leave and was so ticked I forgot to grab my camera battery charger.

*Orange Juice leaked in Bentley's backpack where I was keeping my phone- which then decided to quit working for the day.

*We had to take the emergency exit out of two rides because Bentley was screaming like a crazy mad man to get out of those 'scarry rides' (A Bugs Life and Stitch's Great Escape)

But other than that- MAGICAL.

the month of love

I can't wait to see these 2 movies about love

1.22.2010

I love bunco

not sure if it's the actual game itself that I love or if it's more the delicious food, night out of the house with 20 girlfriends, girl talk for a couple hours, no responsibilties and winning prizes that I love...

I forgot to get a picture with everyone..So we took these before leaving..

Meggen with her winnings.

What we have been up to...

Giving Jace a much needed haircut
(This was at the end of his rash from the amoxicillin, that's why his poor skin is splotchy and puffy)

Hanging out with family

Lots of Christmas parties

That include a nativity..

and caroling...

and sledding!..

(Thanks Vevs for letting me steal all your pictures since I have been horrible at taking my camera places!)

My highlight of the day was when Dallin pulled me and three of my nieces who are between 8-10 around on tubes behind his snowmobile for an hour. I can't remember the last time I've had that much fun! It was a blast. We finally had to stop when one of my nieces said, "I think I'm frostbit."

Christmas Morn

My moma spent the night with us.

This was all Bentley asked for...A Spider Man Watch. Santa delivered.

Don't mind how puffy my face is in the morning.

Not sure what's going on here...

My mom's facortie present.
It's a glove with a handle inside that attatches to a snow scraper. quite clever.
We had a fun Christmas morning!

Long time..no see..

In Jr. High and High School, My group of friends would have a Christmas party every year. We would eat till we popped, exchange gifts and goof off like idiots... This year was no different.
It had been FIVE years since we have all gotten together. It was so fun to catch up with everyone, I hope it becomes a tradition again.

My birfday

I turned 24 on December 13th. My birthday was on a Sunday, so we decided to do most the celebrating on Saturday. Dall and I started off with going to see 'New Moon'. His dad was kind enough to come over and watch the boys while we went! What a great grandpa. When we got back, we decided to take advantage of the new snow and go sledding. We all had a blast and decided to end the day with building a snowman. Which turned out pretty fantastic but I think some punk pushed it down in the middle of the night. It most likely was one of our Sunday school kids, so they better watch their backs.

His first time playing with snow...

Bentley just stood there covering himself with the sled while Dallin pelted him with snowballs. Have you seen Elf? It was like that.

So proud of himself :)
But wouldn't you be? He is pretty awesome.

Dallin, thanks for giving me such a great birthday. You never fail to make it special with all your surprizes. :)
